Beautifully hand carved wall mount /hanging panel.
The piece depicts lord Murugan standing in beautifully carved gopuram accompanied by his vahana, Paravani, the peacock. In his right hands, Murugan holds a sool kathi, or diamond-shaped sword and the vel, his spear. In the left upper hand, he gracefully holds a lotus bud. Done in with beautiful multicolour finish,sculptural detailing and symbols like the yali, and lotus flowers and petals.
Done in Chettinad Gopuram style carvings .
