Woodcarved Meenakshi Sundareshwar Wall Panel Depicting the Marriage of Parvati to Lord Shiva.
The 3 central figures of the panel are Shiva on the right with Parvati in the middle with Lorr Vishnu on the left holding a pot of water which is poured over the combined hands of the couple .Rishis and priests on either side are seen conducting the wedding .
The panel is intricately carved and is one of a kind, hand carved from a single block of wood.
